Over 35 years clean and sober

I have been on a Spiritual journey for most of my life. Along the way, I've been blessed with loving help from caring mentors from different disciplines, including an Episcopal priest, an Oncology Nurse, a practicing psychic, my wife of 23 years who taught me heart-centered counseling, countless AA members, a Reike Master, a chiropractor, a Shamanic healer, and my many clients who grow in the most delightful ways.

Training in Shaminism - Since October 2009 I have had 44 days of advanced trainings in Shamanic practices, drum journeying, and meditation. This included the Two Week Healing Intensive in Shaminism, in Virginia in October 2012.

The majority of these trainings are offerings of The Foundation for Shamanic Studies (FSS). FSS has staff and trainers around the world. It was founded by anthropologist Michael Harner and is located in California.

Since January 2011 I have hosted a weekly Shamanic Drum Circle for 4-7 people. A second weekly circle began in late 2013. I offer individual introduction to Shamanic Drum Journeying as needed.

* This means that I am entered in the Vermont State Roster of psychotherapists who choose to be Non-Licensed, Non-Certified Psychotherapists, as defined in Title 26, Chapter 78 of Vermont Statutes. As such, I may legally practice psychotherapy in the State of Vermont. This Roster is maintained by the Office of Professional Regulation of the Office of the Vermont Secretary of State. There are over 200 therapists on this Roster.
